Vice Presidential Debate

Did you catch the Vice Presidential Debate last night?

I thought that Joe Biden was the clear winner, he was passionate, he was detailed in his answers, he didn't let Paul Ryan get away with any B.S., he was the aggressor, he really controlled the tenor of the debate.  His vast experience and grasp of the issues was very noticeable and a sharp contrast to the much younger, less experienced Paul Ryan.  Ryan meanwhile just seemed to stick with his canned talking points and didn't offer much else.  I really don't know how any objective observer of this debate could say that Paul Ryan won it.

I'm already seeing those on the right complaining about Biden's overly aggressive approach, they are calling him rude, unhinged and disrespectful, yet those same pundits applauded Mitt Romney for doing the same thing last week in the first Presidential debate.  It seems they want it both ways.  I find it interesting that when President Obama lost the first Presidential debate he was called out on it by the pundits on the left yet when Paul Ryan clearly loses his debate the right wing pundits are full of excuses.  What happened to objectivity?
