Presidential Debate II

Did you catch the second Presidential Debate tonight?   It was very entertaining.

It was clearly a win for Barack Obama, he was much more engaged, much more passionate, way less willing to let Mitt Romney get away with falsehoods, misstatements and shifting of positions tonight.  I just want to know where this Barack Obama was last week for the first debate, maybe there is something to that altitude theory, anyways had this Barack Obama been at last weeks debate this race would be over right now.  The way he handled the Libya issue was masterful.  I loved the "can you say that a little louder Candy?" comment.  His handling of the questions on women's pay & immigration were also very strong.  I also liked the way he saved the 47% comment for his closing statement.

I thought that Mitt Romney didn't come across as being as credible this week, a week of fact checking can have that effect.  He also came across as a bit arrogant and controlling at times.  The way he tried to role over on Candy Crowley may not go over well with some women.  Could someone also explain Romney's "binder of women" comment?

Props to moderator Candy Crowley, she did a great job reigning in both candidates, especially Mitt when he tried to take control of the debate early on.  The right wing pundits are already calling her out for her treatment of Mitt but it was certainly warranted, a good moderator should call the candidates out when they don't answer the question, when they don't tell the truth or when they try to change the rules of the game in the middle of the debate.
