Arizona St 43, UCLA 45

The Sun Devils fall to UCLA 45-43 today in Tempe.  ASU fall to 5-3 on the season.  It was another heartbreaker for the Sun Devils, they gave up a last minute FG to lose it.  It was a winnable game. They never quit, they kept battling but they just ran out of gas at the end.  Why teams keep using that prevent defense at the end of games is beyond me. The defense really needs to play better going forward, they've been pretty good most of the season but this game and the Oregon game seem to have exposed them some. 

Observations:

• No Will Sutton today, they missed him disrupting the middle of the field. 
• ASU could really use a WR who can stretch the field.  
• Marion Grice continues to impress.  As does D.J. Foster.
• 535 yards in total offense for ASU, and they still lost?   
• Taylor Kelly has been great this year, but he does still play like a freshman at times.  
• I did not realize that Brett Hundley was from Chandler, AZ.  
• Josh Hubner is a pretty good college punter.  
• Musical kickers continue today, John Mora in for Alex Garoutte this week. 
• Still no end in sight to the Directv & PAC12 Network standoff.
