  9. Back to School - Rodney Dangerfield, Keith Gordon
  10. Heartbreak Ridge - Clint Eastwood , Marsha Mason
"Platoon" is one of the great military movies ever and perhaps Charlie Sheen's best performance.  I loved the big school vs little school underdog story of "Hoosiers", Gene Hackman was terrific too.  "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" is one of John Hughes best movies, and that's saying something, it's a lot of fun.  "The Color of Money" is yet another great film by Martin Scorsese, watching Fast Eddie Felson mentor his young protege made for a great story.  "Stand By Me" is easily the best film adapted from a Stephen King story.  "At Close Range" is one of Sean Penn's early works, and one of his best, it will haunt you for a while.  "Aliens" is the first and the best of the Ellen Ripley saga.  "The Fly" is easily Jeff Goldblum's best performance.  While "Back to School" is no cinematic masterpiece, it is one of the funniest movies you'll ever see.  Clint Eastwood rarely makes a bad movie, he's terrific as Gunnery Sergeant Highway in "Heartbreak Ridge".
