49ers 20, Cardinals 17

The Cardinals lost their regular season finale 20-17 today to the 49ers in San Francisco.  The Cardinals finish the year with a 11-5 record, considering they lost 4 of their final 6 I'm honestly a bit disappointed with that.  The Cardinals did earn the number five spot in the NFC playoffs though.  Unfortunately, I'm not optimistic going forward, the QB play is just way too shaky at this point regardless of who they are playing.  Go get it Cards!  Make me eat my words.

Observations:

• Ryan Lindley threw 2 touchdown passes!  And 3 interceptions. 
• It was nice to see Michael Floyd make an impact again. 
• Bruce Arians gets my vote for NFL Coach of the Year. 
• The Cardinals need a Frank Gore / Marshawn Lynch type power RB. 
• Where are those turnovers from the Cardinals defense?   
• The Cardinals finished the year 4-4 on the road, 7-1 at home. 
• 9 different Cardinals caught passes today.  
• Larry Fitzgerald needs to play a bigger role if the Cardinals are to advance in the playoffs.
• Turnovers:  Cardinals 3, 49ers 0
• 2nd Half Scoring:  49ers 7, Cardinals 0
• Have I mentioned that Ted Ginn Jr was a disappointment to me this season? 
• The Cardinals defense needs to play better than the last 2 weeks once the playoffs start. 
• Colin Kaepernick killed the Cardinals on the ground. 
• I remember liking Anquan Boldin.  I wish he was still a Cardinal. 
• It would be nice if Drew Stanton could play next week!  
• So long Jim Harbaugh, it was a nice run, now get out of the NFC West already!
• Is Todd Bowles on the Atlanta Falcons radar?  
• Should the Cardinals move Logan Thomas to TE this off season?  
• Cardinals draft needs:  RB, DE, ILB, QB, WR
• Up next?  @ Carolina to take on the Panthers in round 1 of the NFL Playoffs.
