TPSG Top 10 Movies of 2007

Continuing with my look at the best movies of years gone by.

Top 10 Movies of 2007:
  1. No Country For Old Men - Josh Brolin, Javier Bardem
  2. Superbad - Michael Cera, Jonah Hill
  3. Knocked Up - Seth Rogen, Katherine Heigl
  4. The Bourne Ultimatum - Matt Damon, Julia Stiles
  5. There Will Be Blood - Daniel Day Lewis, Paul Dano
  6. Into The Wild - Emile Hirsch, Hal Holbrook
  7. 300 - Gerard Butler, Michael Fassbender
  8. Gone Baby Gone - Casey Affleck, Michelle Monaghan
  9. American Gangster - Denzell Washington, Russell Crowe
  10. Zodiac - Jake Gyllenhaal, Robert Downey Jr
"No Country For Old Men" may just be the best Cohen Brothers movie.  "Superbad" and "Knocked Up" continued the trend of great Judd Apatow comedies.  All of the Jason Bourne movies have a spot on my lists.  Daniel Day Lewis gave the performance of the year in "There Will Be Blood".  I couldn't stop thinking about "Into The Wild" for days, it was really haunting and the Eddie Vedder soundtrack was a perfect compliment.  "300" with their use of CGI technology has changed movies forever.  The Affleck brothers showed they are a force to reckoned with in "Gone Baby Gone".  I love gangster movies and "American Gangster" didn't disappoint.  "Zodiac" did a great job showing the tracking of the infamous Zodiac killer, Jake Gyllenhaal & Robert Downey Jr were fantastic.
