Panthers 30, Cardinals 20

The Cardinals fell to the reeling Carolina Panthers 30-20 today in Charlotte.  The Cardinals fall to 3-4-1 at the midpoint of the season.  To put it lightly, they did not look good today.  They were outplayed and outcoached.  Their time to turn things around and make a playoff run is running short too.  I guess we will always have last year.

Observations:

• This game was a bit reminiscent of last seasons NFC Championship game. 
• The Panthers were definitely the hungrier team today. 
• Where on earth has the Cardinals offense gone? 
• The Panthers dominated on both sides of the line of scrimmage. 
• Did the Cardinals really have a second down and 44?  
• Bruce Arians needs to get better on challenges. 
• Larry Fitzgerald just keeps chugging along. 
• J.J. Nelson has really stepped up his game lately.  
• The Cardinals really need for Tyrann Mathieu to return to form. 
• That Panther touchdown looked like an incomplete pass to me. 
• Luke Kuechly is really good at football. 
• The Cardinals really did luck into David Johnson.
• Wherefore art thou Michael Floyd?  
• The officiating was less than stellar today. 
• Calais Campbell probably should have been flagged for that hit on Cam Newton.
• The Cardinals continue to get nothing out of the 2016 NFL Draft. 
• Cardinals seem to always struggle with early starts in other time zones. 
• My early Cardinals draft wish list includes QB and OL.  
• I wonder if the Cardinals would bring back Todd Bowles when he is fired. 
• Up next?  San Francisco 49ers next Sunday.
