Cardinals 33, 49ers 21

The Cardinals started slow again but finished nicely tonight in their 33-21 win over the 49ers.  With this win the Cardinals improve to 2-3 on the season.  I hope the Cardinals learned something from this game, they don't need to throw the ball deep so much, just enough to keep teams honest.  They did fine running the ball and taking some of the underneath pass routes.  Playing under control and limiting your turnovers can do wonders for a team.  Nice win Cards!

Observations:

• Larry Fitzgerald just keeps doing Larry Fitzgerald things. 
• Markus Golden may now be the Cardinals best defender.  
• Just feed David Johnson the football!!!  
• I have to admit, I had never heard of John Wetzel before this game. 
• Marcus Cooper has been a nice pick up for the Cardinals. 
• Cardinals LB Alex Okafor had a real nice game. 
• Drew Stanton did just enough to win and limited the turnovers.   
• That was one of Calais Campbell's best game in a long time.  
• Turnovers:  49ers 3, Cardinals 0 
• Sacks:  Cardinals 7, 49ers 1
• The Cardinals special teams played perhaps their best game of the season. 
• Chandler Jones was continually around the QB tonight.  
• You'd think that Michael Floyd would be playing better in a contract year. 
• Blaine Gabbert didn't want anything to do with Patrick Peterson.  
• Deone Bucannon was all over the field.  
• Ryan Quigley was solid punting the ball for the Cards. 
• Injuries are really starting to wreak havoc on the Cardinals. 
• There looked to be a lot of empty seats at Levi Stadium. 
• I've always thought that Colin Kaepernick would be a good fit in a Chip Kelly offense. 
• Up next?  New York Jets @ Arizona on Monday night 10/17.
