Arizona State 23, UCLA 20

The Arizona State beat UCLA 23-20 last night in Tempe.  The Sun Devils improve to 5-1 on the season with this win.  I'm guessing most people would have been happy with a 5-1 start to this season if you had asked them that prior to the season (breaking in a new QB and all) so I do need to give Todd Graham some credit for that.  It'll be interesting to see how the QB situation shakes out the rest of the way for ASU.  Regardless, nice win Devils!

Observations:

• The Sun Devil defense played much better than they did last week. 
• ASU's offense was nowhere to be seen in that first half.  
• The Sun Devils were outsmarting themselves with their Sparky formation. 
• Brady White was a bit shaky in his first ever collegiate start. 
• Dillion Sterling-Cole's first pass was certainly forgettable.  
• Kareem Orr is not someone the secondary can afford to play without. 
• JoJo Wicker may have played this best game as a Sun Devil in this one. 
• ASU really needs to do a better job of getting N'Keal Harry the football. 
• What a game by ASU WR Tim White.  11 catches for 123 yards. 
• Total Yards:  UCLA 443, Arizona State 275
• Rushing Yards:  Arizona State 79, UCLA -1
• Turnovers:  UCLA 4, Arizona State 3
• UCLA QB Josh Rosen took a beating in this one. 
• Zane Gonzelez is now the FBS All Time best field goal kicker. 
• ASU has beaten some pretty good QB's this season.  
• TE Kody Kohl needs more touches for Arizona State. 
• I think it's safe to say that he Sun Devils have the best special team in the PAC12. 
• I'm not a fan of Arizona States gray desert and ice uniforms. 
• UCLA QB Josh Rosen appears to have an NFL arm.
