Observations:
- The Gophers offense was not B1G caliber today.
- I'm surprised Minnesota wasn't trying to run the ball more.
- The Gophers defense was on the field way too much today.
- That was clearly Mitch Leidner's worst game of the year.
- The Gophers defense needs to get better on 3rd downs.
- Jay Johnson's play calling today left a lot to be desired.
- Shannon Brooks runs so hard every time he has the ball.
- The Gophers offensive line really struggled today.
- Time of Possession: Iowa 34:55, Minnesota 25:05
- Floyd of Rosedale stays in Iowa for another year.
- The Gophers secondary was much improved today.
- Kamal Martin is going to have a nice career at Minnesota.
- Remember when uncatchable passes didn't draw pass interference penalties?
- The Gophers seem to finally be getting back to full strength.
- Still way too many penalties called against the Gophers.
- The Gophers return game was much better today.
- It would probably be wise to not throw towards Desmond King.
- I have to admit, that was a nice pooch punt by C.J. Beathard.
- It was good to see Mike Sherels back on the sidelines.
- Up next? @ Maryland next Saturday.
