Vikings 24, Lions 10
The Vikings got their first win today, 24-10 over the Lions. They were behind early but for the most part really seemed to be in control most of the game. Favre looked a little more comfortable with his WR's today, although he did have 2 INT's, so that was a good sign. The defense was stout once again, the Lions only score came after the Lions intercepted Favre deep in Minnesota territory. Observations? 1-Adrian Peterson was a beast (2 TD's & 160 yards rushing). 2-Percy Harvin had a nice game but damn that guy always seems banged up. 3- It was good to see Chris Cook & Cedric Griffith activated for today's game, they will help in the secondary. 4- Greg Camarillo looked ok on punt returns today, much improved over last week, he's still no Darius Reynaud though. 5-The Vikes have a bye week next week, I was initially opposed to them having one this early in the season but it may work out ok for them as it will give them time to get healthy and for Favre to continue to get his timing down with his WR's. Week #5 they have the Jets in New York.
