Dbacks hire Kevin Towers as GM

The Arizona Diamondbacks hired Kevin Towers as their GM today.  I like this move, I think they really need an experienced hand in their to try to get them back on track.  Josh Byrnes, the last GM, was a complete disaster and the left the team in a real mess.  As much as I like the moves that Jerry Dipoto has made as interim GM, he just lacks the experience of Towers.  Towers has 14 years of experience as a GM, he guided the Padres to 4 division titles, he did it all on a fairly limited budget.  What's not to like?  Good hire, I like it!
