Cardinals 7, Steelers 0

The Cardinals went into Pittsburgh today and were knocked off 25-13 by the Steelers.  The Cardinals drop to 4-2 on the season with this loss.  I'm not so sure that the Steelers won this one as much as the Cardinals gave it away, they kept shooting themselves in the foot.  The officiating didn't help much either.  Either way, the Cardinals still hold a 2 game lead in the NFC West, they'd better get their shit together if they want to hold on because the Seahawks and Rams aren't going to quit pushing.

Observations:
  • It was interesting that Andre Ellington got the start over Chris Johnson.
  • I just love the Cardinals secondary.  Best in the NFL?
  • It's about time that Michael Floyd reach the end zone
  • Carson Palmer to John Brown is a nice way to start a game.
  • Larry Fitzgerald knows how to get Yards After Catch
  • I don't care where they line up Deone Bucannon as long as he's out there.
  • The Cardinals really need to turn those red zone trips into touchdowns.
  • First Downs:  Cardinals 21, Steelers 14
  • Total Yards:  Cardinals 469, Steelers 310
  • Passing Yards:  Cardinals 414, Steelers 169
  • Turnovers:  Cardinals 3, Steelers 0
  • Second half scoring:  Steelers 22, Cardinals 3
  • John Brown has stepped up his game in his second season.
  • Did Dwight Freeney get any snaps?  If so, he was invisible.
  • Way too many penalties by the Cardinals today, they need to tighten that up.
  • Sorry, but Martavis Bryant did not get 2 feet down on that touchdown catch.
  • The Cardinals week in West Virginia doesn't appear to have paid dividends.
  • How is it that I had never heard of the first touch rule with regards to punt returns
  • Too bad Michael Vick got hurt, Landry Jones killed them
  • Up next?  Monday Night Football October 26 @ home vs Ravens
