A Walk in the Woods

A Walk in the Woods - starring Robert Redford & Nick Nolte.  I didn't go into this one with real high expectations, and I didn't leave blown away either.  It is what it is.  I found it a bit slow and meandering for the most part.  It's about 2 aging friends looking to reconnect on one last adventure where they reflect upon their lives and friendship.  The adventure in this case is the hiking of the Appalachian Trail.  It's not a horrible movie by any stretch, I think there's an audience for it, mainly Redford and Nolte fans, there were also a few humorous moments as well.  In summary, great actors, some redeeming points, but just don't set your expectations too high

1 star  (*****) = Avoid at all costs, this one is a real stinker.
