Vikings 21, Raiders 27

The Vikings fall to the Raiders 27-21 today.  The Vikings fall to 2-8 on the season.  It's amazing how far and fast they've fallen.  They are not a good football team at this point, they have holes all over the place, and where they don't have holes, they are getting old.  They are going to have to build around a nucleus of Ponder, Peterson, Harvin, Rudolph & Greenway, that leaves a lot of missing pieces that will need to be obtained.  I'm not optimistic about a quick turnaround.

Observations:
-Vikings could be in line for the 2nd pick of the draft (only the Colts have a worse record).
-Yikes, Adrian Peterson left with a high ankle sprain, that could keep him out several weeks.
-Kevin Williams finally broke his string of 21 straight games without a sack.
-Chad Greenway got his first sack of the year!  15 tackles too, not a bad game.
-Vikes kick/punt coverage teams need some work.
-I can see how the Raiders are the most heavily penalized team in the NFL.
-How about a little effort Vikings?
-No sacks for Jared Allen, that's the first time he's been shut out this year.
-I hate to say it, but Leslie Frazier hasn't impressed me much as a head coach.
-Up next are the Falcons in Atlanta.
