Cardinals 21, Eagles 17

The Cardinals knock off the Eagles 21-17 today.  The Cards climb to 3-6 on the season.  The Eagles are reeling, I think the Cardinals caught them at the right time.  That being said, I have seen steady improvement out of Ray Horton's defense, they've got some talented defenders, I think they'll be fine in time.  There is still a glaring need for another top WR to play opposite Larry Fitzgerald, Andre Roberts and Early Doucet are just not cutting it in that #2 WR spot.  I was hoping that Todd Heap could lessen some of the need for another receiver but he just can't seem to stay on the field.   Anyways, nice game Cards!

Observations:
-Cardinals are 2-0 with John Skelton starting.  Just saying.
-Skelton struggled but showed a lot of composure late again.
-Cardinals break a 11 game road losing streak.
-This was probably the best the Cardinals defense played all season.
-Cardinals LB Daryl Washington is really playing some good football.
-Larry Fitzgerald sets team record for TD's (he had 7 catches for 146 yards, 2 TD's)
-It helped that DeSean Jackson was benched/suspended by the Eagles.
-Jay Feely's 2 missed FG's almost came back to haunt the Cardinals.
-I think it's time to stick a fork in the Eagles playoff hopes.
-Up next are the 49ers in San Francisco.
