Cardinals 7, 49ers 23

The Cardinals fall to the 49ers today 23-7.  The Cardinals fall to 3-7 on the season.  The offense just didn't show up, John Skelton was miserable and they had no running game.  The defense actually didn't do too bad, there's only so much they can do though when they are constantly on the field.  They really need to get their QB situation straightened out, a clear cut number 2 WR would also be nice.

Observations:
-5 turnovers for the Cardinals, that's hard to overcome.
-John Skelton finished with a QB rating of 10.5, you don't win much with a QB rating of 10.5.
-I suspect that Kevin Kolb is not too worried about retaining his job once he's healthy.
-The 49ers defense is pretty good, they could make some noise come playoff time.
-49ers WR Kyle Williams (from ASU & Scottsdale) is carving out a nice niche in SF.
-Patrick Willis is a heckuva football player, he might now be the best LB in the NFL.
-I have to suspect that Jim Harbaugh is a lock for NFL Coach of the Year honors.
-3 missed FG's (2 of which were blocked) for David Akers of the 49ers, you don't see that often.
-Fitz, 2nd fastest reciever to 9K yards (only Randy Moss did it quicker).
-Up next are the Rams in St. Louis.
