Minnesota 13, Wisconsin 42

Gophers lose to Wisconsin 42-13.  This loss drops the Gophers to 2-8 on the season.  The Badgers retain Paul Bunyan's Axe.  The Gophers were just out-manned and outclassed today, especially along the lines, Wisconsin is just so much bigger, stronger and experienced along both lines.  The Gophers secondary also really struggled today, they are really missing CB Troy Stoudermire.  I'm really not sure how Wisconsin has lost twice this year, they are good, they can run the ball, they can pass the ball, they have a solid defense.

Observations:
-Minnesota has a long way to go to be competitive with the likes of Wisconsin.
-Total yards:  Wisconsin 461, Minnesota 156.  Enough said.
-Russell Wilson is good, he was 16-17 for 178 yards & 4 TD's.
-Montee Ball is also good, he now holds the Big Ten single season record for rushing TD's
-Gopher secondary is not so good, they gave receivers way too much cushion all game long.
-Loved the fake FG/TD by the Gophers, I like that they are willing to take some chances.
-Duane Bennett did a nice job on kick off returns today (including a TD).
-Congrats to MarQueis Gray on his new born twin boys.
-Dan Orseske's continued punting woes are really killing the Gophers in the battle for field position.
-Up next is Northwestern in Evanston, IL.
