Vikings 20, Seahawks 30

The Vikings continue to struggle, falling to the Seahawks 30-20 today in Seattle.  The Vikings fall to 5-4 on the season, they've now lost 3 of their last 4 games.  I think I've seen enough of Christian Ponder, I think it's fair to conclude that they reached on him in the draft, I'm not sure if he's anything better than a back-up QB, he's undersized, he lacks arm strength, he can't throw on the run, he struggles with his accuracy, he struggles under pressure, I'm just not seeing much of anything out of him that leads me to believe he's the long term answer at QB.  I doubt the Vikings give up on him so quickly though.  I'd rather see Joe Webb at QB at this point.

Observations:

• We saw the good and bad from Percy Harvin today.  
• The Vikings rush defense was woeful today.  I'm sick of the Cover-2 Defense.
• Christian Ponder was 11/22 for 68 yards, sacked 4 times, 37.3 QB rating. 
• Defense once again created no turnovers.
• I'm still in awe of rookie kicker Blair Walsh. 
• Adrian Peterson was in hulk mode today.  He topped the 1000 yard mark for the season.
• Remember that win over the Redskins last year?  It's proving costly.   
• Marshawn Lynch is a pretty good running back, he's fun to watch. 
• I'm ready to see Joe Webb given a legitimate shot at the QB job. 
• Up next?  Detroit @ home next Sunday.
