Arizona St 17, USC 38

The Sun Devils fall again, this time 38-17 to USC in Los Angeles.  The Devils fall to 5-5 on the season.  This loss officially eliminates the Devils from PAC-12 South contention.  I know 5-5 seems very similar to last year but I do see some progress, I like their offensive approach, they are playing much more disciplined, they are doing a nice job of recruiting, I'm confident that they'll get there eventually. 

Observations:

• The Sun Devil offense is really struggling at this point of the season.
• Another TD for Marion Grice.  Get him the ball more! 
• Taylor Kelly has really struggled once the Devils hit the meat of their schedule. 
• The Devil WR's aren't making things easier for Kelly.  
• The Sun Devil OL gave up 7 sacks, they looked like the Cardinals. 
• Time of possession:  USC 36:19, ASU 23:41
• Marqise Lee is the man.  He's a very impressive looking WR.   
• More D.J. Foster please!  They need to find a way to get him the ball more.  
• USC RB Curtis McNeal had a nice game.  163 yards & 3 TD's.  
• One positive, ASU did force 5 USC turnovers 
• Is Matt Barkley really the leading passer in PAC-12 history? 
• It's long past time that the Pac-12 Network and Directv come to a deal. 
• Up next?  Washington State @ Sun Devil Stadium next Saturday.
