CRS Tax Cut Study Suppressed

Have you read about this?  Republican leaders pressured the Congressional Research Service (CRS) to suppress their report on the effects of tax cuts to the wealthy on the economy.  Keep in mind that the Congressional Research Service is a non partisan apolitical research group that provides statistical analysis for congress, they don't have an agenda.  Their findings apparently undercut the GOP's decades long economic philosophy that tax cuts for the wealthy spur economic expansion and job growth.  Why don't they want people to know about this?  Did they not want to be exposed as frauds before the election?  Was the GOP pressured by wealthy donors to suppress it?  Whatever their reasons, I find it kind of appalling to tell you the truth, if they didn't like the results why not just rebut them with statistics of their own (or do they not have any statistics to back up their claims?)?  Suppressing it just makes it look like they know the report is true and don't want people to find out about it.  I'm guessing that Darrell Issa won't be investigating this anytime soon.
