Arizona St 26, Oregon St 36

The Devils fell to the Beavers 36-26 last night in Corvalis. The Devils fall to 5-4 on the season, despite their promising start, this season is shaping up much the same as last season with the Devils slumping down the stretch.  Big plays were the key, Oregon St had plays of 50, 35, 53 & 49 yards, ASU on the other hand again struggled to stretch the field, their longest play was for 26 yards and that was a scramble by Taylor Kelly.  3 games left (USC, Washington State & Arizona), 2 of which are on the road, another 6-6 finish looks likely.    

Observations:

• The ASU offense is really struggling at this point of the season.
• I'm still waiting for a WR to step up. 
• It was good to see Will Sutton back on the field. He's a beast.
• Taylor Kelly really struggled at QB, not his best game.
• The ASU secondary needs to step it up, they didn't have a good game. 
• Cameron Marshall has had a nice career at ASU.  
• Another TD for Marion Grice, that's 13 TD's on the season for him. 
• Josh Huber continues to shine at punter.  
• 3 straight opponenvs have gained 400+ yards against the Devils.
• Up next?  @ USC next Saturday to take on the Trojans.
