- It was a blood bath of epic proportions for Democrats.
- I'm still baffled as to why so many Democratic candidates ran from President Obama. They should have embraced him and his record, it's actually pretty good.
- The system really is broken. It's time for reform. My plans you ask?
- Carpetbagger Scott Brown got what he deserved.
- Why the hell don't young people vote? It's their future at stake.
- If those poor folks in Kentucky lose the healthcare they just gained they will have nobody to blame but themselves.
- Ideology won out over competence, how else can you explain Joni Ernst, Michael Grimm, Sam Brownback, Diane Douglas, Scott Walker, Rick Scott, Michele Reagan et al.
- This is what gerrymandering looks like.
- Poor people get the government that they vote for, or don't vote for.
- Don't think for a second that voter suppression didn't depress the Democratic vote count.
- Big Money/Dark Money was the big winner in this election, with most of it benefiting the Republicans thanks to the Koch Brothers et al. With the Republicans now in charge I find it highly unlikely that they will want to change that system either.
- The environment was the big loser in this election.
- The Republicans would be wise to not get too carried away with these results, most of the Senate races were in red states, they also really weren't running on anything either outside of "stopping" Obama.
- It would seem to me that there are many many better ways to spend $3.7 billion.
- Allison Lundergan Grimes deserved to lose for her bullshit Obama move.
- Why don't we make it easier for people to vote? I love being able to vote by mail in Arizona, why don't more states adopt that? Or, how about we move election day to Sunday? Or how about we make election day a National Holiday?
- Don't believe the narrative that the GOP is moderating, they are still as crazy as ever.
- The Republicans 'obstruct & blame' strategy finally worked after 6 years of sabotage. Only in America can you have a party run on fixing the dysfunction that they caused. The corporate owned media failed us big time on this one. I fear that this will become standard operating procedure for Republicans moving forward too.
- WTF single women? Why don't you care about control over your body, or contraceptive coverage or fair pay or violence against women? Get off your asses and vote already!
- It wasn't all bad news for Democrats. Tom Butt won! Marijuana legalization had a nice day, as did the minimum wage, anti fracking and gun control measures.
- American's sure do have short memories if they think the Republicans are better on the economy and national defense.
- No more negative election ads! Well, for awhile anyways.
