2016 Presidential Field Update

So long Ben Carson, we hardly knew you.  That leaves us with 6 candidates still in the running, 4 Republicans and 2 Democrats.   It seems like only yesterday that there were 22 candidates.

Here's how the remaining candidates rank in my opinion (as far as their chances):

Democrats: 

1. Hillary Clinton
2. Bernie Sanders

Republicans: 

1. Donald Trump
2. Marco Rubio
3. Ted Cruz
4. John Kasich

I think Ben Carson let his ego get the best of him after the right wing media fell in love with him back in 2013.  No doubt, he has a great story to tell, but just like all other candidates, he had to pander to the far right base.  His lack of charisma and knowledge of foreign policy were his ultimate doom.   I think he liked all the attention, I also think that running for President may have been more about building his brand and making money than actually having a desire to be President.   He won't be missed.
