Minnesota Vikings Draft - Day 2

The Minnesota Vikings selected UCLA MLB Eric Kendricks in round 2 (number 45 overall) of the NFL Draft today.  I'm a big fan of this pick, Kendricks is a tackling machine, he won the 2014 Butkus Award as the best Linebacker in college football.  The only concern with him is that he's a bit undersized.  I can deal with that though, Ed McDaniel wasn't huge either and he was a pretty good MLB, he also fills a big need.  Great instincts, he flies across the field, he will be a great fit in a Mike Zimmer defense.  It'll be fun watching him line up with fellow Bruin Anthony Barr at LB too.

In round 3 (number 88 overall), the Vikings selected LSU DE Danielle Hunter.  This guy reminds me a lot of Michael Johnson, he's a physical specimen.  He's very young too, had he stayed in school he probably would have been selected much higher next year.  Lots of upside to him.
