Cardinals 37, Titans 34

The Cardinals knocked off the Titans 37-34 in OT today in Nashville.  The Cardinals improve to 9-5 on the season.  It wasn't easy, but a win is a win, I'll take it.  It's looking more and more like they will need to win out (at Seattle next weekend, then at home against San Francisco in 2 weeks) to make the playoffs.  They have their work cut out for them but with the way they are playing, I wouldn't count them out.  Regardless of whether they make the playoffs or not, I've really enjoyed watching this Cardinals team, it's a much superior product to what they put on the field last year.

Observations:

• That fourth quarter Cardinals meltdown did have me worried. 
• All Michael Floyd does is catch first down passes.   
• Turnovers:  Titans 3, Cardinals 0.
• Carson Palmer continues to impress me, he was a warrior today.
• Bruce Arians really should get some Coach of the Year votes.   
• Hopefully that Larry Fitzgerald concussion doesn't sideline him long.
• Alameda Ta'amu really makes for quite a short yardage fullback. 
• Total Yards:  Titans 460, Cardinals 360.
• Jake Ballard plays for the Cardinals?  Who knew?
• Once again, there was plenty of questionable officiating calls going against the Cardinals.  
• Still amazed that the Cardinals were able to draft Andre Ellington in the sixth round.  
• Antoine Cason stepped up big time today.  2 interceptions. 
• There appeared to be plenty of empty seats available in Nashville today. 
• Up next?  @ Seattle to take on the Seahawks.
