Cardinals 30, Rams 10

The Cardinals kept their slim playoff hopes alive today with a 30-10 win over the Rams in Glendale.  The Cardinals improve to 8-5 on the season.  It was another impressive win for the Cardinals, they looked really solid on both sides of the ball.  They are still very much in the playoff hunt, if they can keep winning (no easy chore), they may be able to make it.  All their big names really showed up in a big way today, Carson Palmer (27-32 for 269 yards, 1 TD), Larry Fitzgerald (12 catches for 96 yards, 1 TD), Karlos Dansby (1 sack, 1 pick six, forced fumble), John Abraham (3 sacks), it was a beautiful thing to see.  Nice job Cards!

Observations:
  • The Cardinals really play much better at home (they're 6-1 at home; 2-4 on the road).
  • Carson Palmer should play with a sore elbow more often.
  • What a year that Cardinals LB Karlos Dansby has had.
  • First Downs:  Cardinals 25, Rams 14.
  • Is it too early to be touting Steve Keim for NFL Executive of the Year?
  • Amazing, Michael Floyd has a streak of 22 catches in row that have gone for a first down.
  • The rumors of Larry Fitzgerald's demise were greatly exaggerated.
  • Time of Possession:  Cardinals 35:07, Rams 24:53.
  • It was a rough game for Jay Feely, he had been solid up to this point.
  • John Abraham showed why he's a future Hall of Famer today.
  • Most unappreciated Cardinal?  How about Alameda Ta'amu. He really clogs that middle.
  • I really hope that Tyrann Mathieu's injury isn't serious, I love watching him play.
  • It's about time that they played a game at University of Phoenix with the roof open.
  • Up next?  @ Tennessee Titans next Sunday.
