Weiner Resigns

Anthony Weiner finally succumbed to the pressure and resigned his seat in congress today.   I have mixed feelings on this.  On one side, I hate to see him go, I really liked him as a politician, he was very well spoken and never afraid to take on the GOP on any of the major issues.  On the other side, he displayed some incredibly poor judgment and his behavior was creating a negative impact on his party.  At the end of the day, I think he made the correct choice to step down, he was just becoming too much of a distraction.  I'm sure he will be ok going forward, heck look at Elliott Spitzer, he's doing quite fine.
