Lions 20, Vikings 13

The Vikings lose to the Lions today 20-13 to officially clinch last place in the NFC North.  What an abysmal year it was, especially given the high expectations that they went into the season with.  It was just one of those years where if something could go wrong it did.  They've still got some talent, if they can add help at some help at some key spots (QB, OL, DB, WR) they could make a quick turnaround, I'm an optimist though, they are an aging team, they could just as easily spiral further downhill.   Other observations?   1) I'm not sold on Joe Webb as next years starter, the guy has got a ton of ability but he seemed to struggle with his deep passes, I also wish that he was more willing to tuck the ball in and just run with it, it just gives other teams more things to worry about.  2) Sean Hill certainly has proved to me that he's a quality NFL QB, I'd think any number of teams looking for a stopgap QB next season would be willing to give him a shot (if the Lions are foolish enough not to bring him back).  3) Percy Harvin showed again what a weapon he can be when he's healthy, he really needs to get that migraine issue cleared up.  4) The DB's again showed that it is in need of a major overhaul, I'm talking 2-3 new starters.  5) The OL again showed that it is in need of a major overhaul, I'm talking at least 1 maybe 2 new starters.  6) Lorenzo Booker showed promise as a kick returner, I can see him being brought back next season.  7) They really need to make a point of getting Visanthe Shiancoe more involved in the offense again next year, he's a nice weapon to have and he was severely under utilized this season.  8) Bring on the NFL draft, the Vikings look to be picking 12 or 13 next year.
