Congrats to Lee DeWyze for winning "American Idol 2010".  It got me to thinking, who are the most successful alumnus of "American Idol"?   Here's my list:

1. Carrie Underwood - multiple Grammy's, multiple CMA's
2. Jennifer Hudson - Academy Award winner
3. Kelly Clarkson - the first "AI" winner
4. Chris Daughtry - now lead singer of Daughtry, Grammy nominated
5. Jordin Sparks - 6th season winner
6. Elliott Yamin - 3rd place finisher, album topped the charts for awhile
7. Reuben Studdard - season 2 winner, Grammy nominated
8. Clay Aiken - season 2 runner up, has appeared on Broadway
9. David Cook - 7th season winner, album went platinum
10. Taylor Hicks - 5th season winner
