Vikings 38, Bears 10

The Vikings closed their season today with a 38-10 win over the Bears in Minneapolis.  The Vikings finish the season with an 8-8 record.  It was a season of could have beens.  They started out 5-0, then injuries (especially along the offensive line) began to take their toll.  They've still got a lot of talent, I think they can rebound quickly.  I suspect that there will be some changes, and the fact that they won't have a number one draft pick this offseason won't help, but they are really not that far away.  The offensive line does need some serious revamping though.

Observations:

• All things considered, Sam Bradford had a nice season for the Vikings. 
• I'm guessing we've seen the last of Adrian Peterson in a Vikings uniform. 
• Kyle Rudolph had easily his best season as a Viking. 
• Hopefully, we have not seen the last of Brian Robison in a Vikings uniform. 
• Jerick McKinnon is a much better RB when he's healthy. 
• Give me Rashod Hill over T.J. Clemmings any week. 
• How did Linval Joseph not make the Pro Bowl again? 
• Eric Kendricks has been really steady at MLB for the Vikings. 
• Everson Griffen does seem to have a knack for being in the right place at the right time. 
• Turnovers:  Bears 5, Vikings 1
• Anthony Barr was invisible once again.  
• I really hope that the Vikings bring back Cordarrelle Patterson. 
• You could definitely see progress out of Trae Waynes this season. 
• That Matt Barkley touchdown catch was a thing of beauty. 
• In retropsect, the Vikings should have picked Michael Thomas over Laquon Treadwell. 
• I'm fairly certain that we've seen the last of Chad Greenway in a Vikings uniform.
• Punting indoors seemed to agree with Jeff Locke. 
• Kai Forbath was a perfect 14-14 on field goal attempts as a Viking.
• How did those protesters sneak their equipment into U.S. Bank Stadium?
• Vikings offseason needs:   OL, RB, DT, LB
