Seahawks 38, Vikings 7

The Vikings were humiliated by the Seahawks 38-7 today in Minneapolis.  The Vikings fall to 8-4 on the season.  They are still in first place in the NFC North, now tied with the Packers though.  I think that it's time to conclude that the Vikings are nowhere near as good as their record indicates, they really haven't beaten anyone that good and anytime they take on a good team they tend to struggle.  They better find a way to generate some offense or their playoff chances could easily slip away.

Observations:
  • Stop Adrian Peterson and you stop the Vikings offense.
  • Teddy Bridgewater seems to be regressing as the season progresses
  • The Vikings offensive line is the worst that I can remember.
  • How did Adrian Peterson only get 8 carries today?
  • Not a good game to lose your 3 best defensive players to injuries.
  • That was the worst tackling that I've seen out of the Vikings this season.
  • Cordarrelle Patterson showboating on that kickoff return was a bit over done
  • Way too many check downs from Teddy Bridgewater again today.
  • First Downs:  Seahawks 25, Vikings 9
  • Total Yards:  Seahawks 433, Vikings 125
  • Time of Possession:  Seahawks 35:10, Vikings 24:50
  • I'm a big Norv Turner fan, but his offense doesn't appear to match his personnel.
  • The Vikings should have made Russell Wilson pay more for running the ball.
  • Antone Exum Jr was toasted on several occasions today.
  • The officiating in this game once again left a lot to be desired
  • Did the Vikings really have a first and 38 after 4 straight penalties?
  • There is a reason that Pete Carroll doesn't have a lot of fans around the league.
  • That Gerald Hodges trade is looking bad at this point.
  • Vikings draft needs:  OL, LB, DB, WR, QB
  • Up next?  Arizona Cardinals on Thursday night in Glendale, AZ.
