2016 Presidential Field Update

Jim WebbBobby Jindal & Chris Christie are now all officially in for the 2016 Presidential race.  That increases the Republican field to 14 and counting, and the Democratic field to 5, for now anyways.

Here's how they rank in my opinion (as far as their chances):

Democrats:
  1. Hillary Clinton
  2. Bernie Sanders
  3. Martin O'Malley
  4. Jim Webb
  5. Lincoln Chafee

Republicans
  1. Marco Rubio
  2. Jeb Bush
  3. Rand Paul
  4. Ben Carson
  5. Mike Huckabee
  6. Rick Perry
  7. Chris Christie
  8. Lindsey Graham
  9. Donald Trump
  10. Rick Santorum
  11. Carly Fiorina
  12. Ted Cruz
  13. Bobby Jindal
  14. George Pataki
I'm not sure what Bobby Jindal is thinking, he has no chance.  At this point, with his state failing miserably, about the only person still supporting Jindal appears to be Grover Norquist.

The same could be said of Chris Christie, he's a highly unpopular Governor who put his own Presidential ambitions over the needs of the people of New Jersey.  His only fans are the far right partisans who place ideology over accomplishments. His ego got the best of him.

***Edited to add Jim Webb who jumped into the race today.  I guess he's gonna try to run to the right of Hillary Clinton.  He's a longshot at best.
