Observations:
- That's 12 straight opening season victories for Arizona State.
- Taylor Kelly showed why he is on the Heisman watch list.
- It was nice to see Mike Bercovici get some reps at QB.
- The offense still has a few kinks to work out.
- Half-time score: Arizona State 31, Weber State 0. Ball game right there.
- Arizona State has nine new starters on defense, they held up well.
- 10 catches for 146 yards for Jaelen Strong.
- No forced turnovers for Arizona State, that's a rarity.
- Kalen Ballage is going to create some havoc when all is said and done.
- Total Yards: Arizona State 570, Weber State 308
- It was nice to see Gary Chambers make a contribution.
- Salamo Fiso looked good on the revamped defense.
- Arizona State will need a TE to step up.
- D.J. Foster had 147 yards rushing on 15 carries, that's 9.8 yards per carry average.
- Ellis Johnson is a huge target, possible breakout season?
- A Chans Cox sighting! That was good to see.
- Sun Devil Stadium renovations debuted last night.
- The ASU fanbase lived up to their reputation! Large student crowd!
- Why haven't Directv & the PAC12 Network come to a deal yet?
