2014 TPSG NFL Mock Draft 1.0

The NFL Scouting Combine is going on this week.  You know what that means!  It's time for a mock!  Keep in mind, it's still really early, this is going to change a lot before draft day, I just wanted to have one on the record pre-scouting combine.  So here goes:
  1. Houston Texans - Blake Bortles - QB - Central Florida
  2. St Louis Rams - Jake Matthews - OT - Texas A&M
  3. Jacksonville Jaguars - Jadeveon Clowney - DE - South Carolina
  4. Cleveland Browns - Johnny Manziel - QB - Texas A&M
  5. Oakland Raiders - Teddy Bridgewater - QB - Louisville
  6. Atlanta Falcons - Greg Robinson - OT - Auburn
  7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Sammy Watkins - WR - Clemson
  8. Minnesota Vikings - Khalil Mack - LB - Buffalo
  9. Buffalo Bills - Anthony Barr - LB - UCLA
  10. Detroit Lions - Darqueze Dennard - CB - Michigan State
  11. Tennessee Titans - Taylor Lewan - OT - Michigan
  12. New York Giants - Justin Gilbert - CB - Oklahoma State
  13. St Louis Rams - Ha'Sean Clinton-Dix - DB - Alabama
  14. Chicago Bears - Timmy Jernigan - DT - Florida State
  15. Pittsburgh Steelers - Marqise Lee - WR - USC
  16. Dallas Cowboys - Louis Nix - DT - Notre Dame
  17. Baltimore Ravens - Mike Evans - WR - Texas A&M
  18. New York Jets - Eric Ebron - TE - North Carolina
  19. Miami Dolphins - Zach Martin - OT - Notre Dame
  20. Arizona Cardinals - Cyrus Kouandjio - OT - Alabama
  21. Green Bay Packers - RaShede Hageman - DT - Minnesota
  22. Philadelphia Eagles - Calvin Pryor - DB - Louisville
  23. Kansas City Chiefs - Odell Beckham - WR - Louisiana State
  24. Cincinnati Bengals - C.J. Mosley - LB - Alabama
  25. San Diego Chargers - Bradley Roby - CB - Ohio State
  26. Cleveland Browns - Kelvin Benjamin - WR - Florida State
  27. New Orleans Saints - Kony Ealy - DE - Missouri
  28. Carolina Panthers - Marcus Roberson - CB - Florida
  29. New England Patriots - Jace Amaro - TE - Texas Tech
  30. San Francisco 49ers - Jason Verrett - CB - TCU
  31. Denver Broncos - Dee Ford - DE - Auburn
  32. Seattle Seahawks - Allen Robinson - WR - Penn State

Notes:
  • Blake Bortles is no lock at number 1, I could see Bridgewater, Manziel or Clowney there too.
  • I wouldn't be surprised to see the Rams move down from number 2, they don't have a great need for a QB and they could still get a solid OT about a dozen picks lower.
  • I don't see Jadeveon Clowney slipping past number 3, he's just got too much talent.
  • Johnny Manziel to the Browns just makes too much sense.
  • If any of the top 3 QB's slip to number 8, I suspect that they Vikings will jump on them.  If not, LB makes a ton of sense for them (with a QB then being selected in round 2).
  • I've got to believe that the Cardinals would love to keep building that OL, an upgrade at LT would help them a lot.  A QB like David Carr wouldn't shock me either.
