2011 NBA Draft Lottery Results

The 2011 NBA Draft Lottery was held tonight.  The results are listed below.  I'm ready for them to abolish this damned thing, the team with the worst record hasn't won the first selection since 2004.  The Timberwolves have now been in the lottery 14 times and they have never won the top spot (or even moved up from their projected position).  How is this helping the worst teams get better?
  1. Cleveland Cavaliers  (from LA Clippers)
  2. Minnesota Timberwolves
  3. Utah Jazz  (from New Jersey)
  4. Cleveland Cavaliers
  5. Toronto Raptors
  6. Washington Wizards
  7. Sacramento Kings
  8. Detroit Pistons
  9. Charlotte Bobcats
  10. Milwaukee Bucks
  11. Golden State Warriors
  12. Utah Jazz
  13. Phoenix Suns
  14. Houston Rockets
Here's an interesting quote from Timberwolve GM David Kahn, I wonder if he'll get fined for it:

This league has a habit, and I am just going to say habit, of producing some pretty incredible story lines. Last year it was Abe Pollin's widow and this year it was a 14-year-old boy and the only thing we have in common is we have both been bar mitzvahed. -- Wolves general manager David Kahn

Anyways, I'm projecting that the Cavs will select Duke PG Kyrie Irving with the number 1 pick.  I'm not sure who the Twolves will select just yet (if they don't trade the pick), although at this point it wouldn't surprise me if they select either Arizona F Derek Williams, Kentucky PF/C Enes Kanter or Congo PF/C Bismack Biyombo.
