American Sniper - starring Bradley Cooper & Sienna Miller. I saw this movie about a month ago and really enjoyed it. I'd rank it right up there with some of the best war/military movies that I've ever seen. It's based upon the real life story of Chris Kyle, the most lethal sniper in American military history. The movie follows Kyle through four tours of duty in Iraq and then his inability to leave the war behind once he returned home to his wife and kids. It's a pretty eye opening look at war and the people who fight them. You can't help but admire Kyle for his dedication and service to the country. The tragic ending is quite heartbreaking, don't stop watching early. Bradley Cooper is great as Chris Kyle, Sienna Miller does a nice job as his wife Taya and Clint Eastwood once again proves that he is one of Hollywood's great directors. All in all, it's a very good movie, I high recommend.
I'll give it 4 out of 5 stars (*****).
