Former Gophers in the NFL

By my count, there are now 12 former University of Minnesota Golden Gophers on NFL rosters.  I can't recall a time that they've had this many.  This has to be a good sign to Jerry Kill and his Gopher football program moving forward.  Here they are:

1. Eric Decker - WR - New York Jets 
2. Matt Spaeth - TE - Pittsburgh Steelers 
3. Ra'Shede Hageman - DT - Atlanta Falcons 
4. Brock Vereen - DB - Chicago Bears
5. Marcus Sherels - CB - Minnesota Vikings 
6. Marqueis Gray - TE - Buffalo Bills 
7. Maxx Williams - TE - Baltimore Ravens 
8. David Cobb - RB - Tennessee Titans 
9. Damien Williams - LB - Dallas Cowboys 
10. Cedric Thompson - DB - Miami Dolphins 
11. Isaac Fruechte - WR - Minnesota Vikings 
12. Tramaine Brock - CB - San Francisco 49ers

Notes:  Cobb is on Titans injured reserve list.  Thompson & Fruechte are on the practice squads of their respective teams.  Brock didn't end his collegiate career at Minnesota, but he is a former Gopher.
