Redskins 26, Vikings 20

The Vikings fell to the Washington Redskins 26-20 today in Washington.  The Vikings fall to 5-4 on the season with this loss.  The Vikings have now lost 4 straight after that great 5-0 start to the season. They are now tied with the Lions for first place in the NFC North.  They had better shake themselves out of this funk soon or they can kiss their playoff chances goodbye.

Observations:

• Sam Bradford seems to be a good fit for Pat Shumur's offense. 
• The margin for error for the Vikings offense is very small. 
• Teams seem to be figuring out how to attack the Vikings defense. 
• It looked like the Vikings slept through the entire first quarter. 
• Stefon Diggs and Sam Bradford are developing some nice chemistry. 
• That was in interesting bit of clock management by the Vikings to close the first half. 
• Where did the Vikings pass rush go? 
• Injuries have really decimated this Vikings team. 
• This is easily the worst offensive line I've seen play for the Vikings. 
• That Preston Smith interception was a killer. 
• It's time for the Vikings to move on from Blair Walsh. 
• Adam Thielen continues to shine for the Vikings. 
• The Vikings short yardage offense needs lots of work. 
• Anthony Barr has been a big disappointment this season. 
• The Vikings did not score in the 1st, 3rd or 4th quarters today. 
• How much money did the Vikings tie up on Jake Long? 
• The Vikings only rushed for 47 yards today.  That's not good enough. 
• What the hell happened to the Vikings over their bye week? 
• Viking draft needs:  OL, OL and more OL. 
• Up next?  Arizona Cardinals next Sunday in Minneapolis.
