Cardinals 23, 49ers 20

The Cardinals knocked off the 49ers 23-20 today in Glendale.  The Cardinals improve to 4-4-1 with this win.  They are now 1.5 games behind the Seahawks in the NFC West.  They are still well within reach of a Wildcard spot too, they need to build on this win and keep it rolling if they want to make a playoff run.  Something does really still seem off about them though.

Observations:

• The Cardinals let the 49ers stay in this one much too long. 
• 12 more catches from Larry Fitzgerald today. 
• Another 2 sacks from Chandler Jones today.  
• Untimely Carson Palmer interceptions are really hurting the Cardinals. 
• David Johnson continues to shine for the Cardinals. 
• The Cardinals offense really stumbled in the 2nd half. 
• Calais Campbell is having a nice contract season. 
• Total Yards:  Cardinals 443, 49ers 281
• Turnovers:  Cardinals 4, 49ers 1
• First downs:  Cardinals 26, 49ers 15
• Time of Possession:  Cardinals 32:18, 49ers 27:42
• The Cardinals need to do a better job of running the ball. 
• This was not J.J. Nelson's best game as a Cardinal. 
• A little trickery never hurt anyone. 
• Another 300 yard game from Carson Palmer. 
• This may have been Michael Floyd's best game of the season. 
• That's how you do it Chandler Catanzaro. 
• I'm still waiting for some sort of contribution from Robert Nkemdiche. 
• Colin Kaepernick is definetly an upgrade over Blaine Gabbert.
