Washington State 38, Arizona State 24

The Sun Devils went into Pullman today and were knocked off by Washington State 38-24.  Arizona State drops to an inexplicable 4-5 record on the season with this loss.  Bowl eligibility is looking more and more questionable by the week.  The Sun Devils fell apart after their quick 14-0 lead, that was a bit disheartening.  It has been a very disappointing season for the Sun Devils.

Observations:

• Did Washington State really get a 5th down on the TD drive? 
• That fake punt by Matt Haack was a thing of beauty. 
• Mike Bercovici is really not an ideal fit for this ASU offense. 
• The ASU secondary was incredibly porous today. 
• D.J. Foster continues to cement his place in the ASU history. 
• How did Mike Bercovici miss Kody Kohl on that pass attempt? 
• You don't see 17 play touchdown drives often. 
• Todd Graham is usually pretty good when he has a lead at halftime. 
• Total Yards:  Washington State 512, Arizona State 458
• Rushing Yards:  Arizona State 202, Washington State 15
• Turnovers:  Arizona State 2, Washington State 1
• Quarters 2-4 scoring:  Washington State 38, Arizona State 10
• Remember when you could celebrate a little after a touchdown?
• That fourth quarter punt by Matt Haack was perfection. 
• Another 100+ yard rushing game by Demario Richard. 
• I never feel good about the Sun Devil's chances in cold weather games.
• Luke Falk is a really good under the radar quarterback.  
• Apparently ASU didn't do a good enough job of stealing signals today. 
• Mike Leach has done a nice job at Washington State.   
• Up next?  Washington next Saturday at Sun Devil Stadium.
