Vikings 30, Raiders 14

The Vikings knocked off the Raiders 30-14 today in Oakland.  The Vikings record improves to 7-2 on the season with this win.  That's five wins in a row for the Vikings, they are playing some good football.  They also match last seasons win total, with seven games still to go.  The Vikings also took over sole possession of first place in the NFC North.  I'm really liking this Vikings team!

Observations:

• The Vikings defense is Super Bowl caliber.  
• Adrian Peterson is back!  Heckuva game from AP.  
• Derek Carr > Teddy Bridgewater.  Carr has a much better arm. 
• How did Kyle Rudolph manage to drop that sure touchdown pass?
• Bridgewater seems reluctant to throw the ball down the field. 
• Terence Newman has turned into quite the offseason pickup. 
• Don't tell me that Cordarrelle Patterson doesn't have a role on theVikings. 
• Yet another strong game from Linval Joseph. 
• The Vikings defense was hitting hard. 
• Turnovers:  Raiders 2, Vikings 0
• The Raiders offense had averaged 35 points/game in their last 3 games. 
• Did Brandon Watts really start at LB for the Vikings?  
• It was an up and down day for Blair Walsh.  
• Adrian Peterson's assault on the record book continues. 
• How did the Vikings manage only 122 passing yards against the Raiders?
• That Raider punt that was ruled down at the 3 should have been a touchback.
• Did Antone Exum really tackle a fan? 
• AC/DC has the looks of a nice tandem going forward for the Raiders.
• Do you think the Raider fans will follow them to Los Angeles/San Diego?
• Up next?  Green Bay Packers in Minneapolis next Sunday.
