2016 RNC - Day 1

I think that it's safe to say that day one of the RNC was an unmitigated disaster.

Day 1 Highlights:

• A highly partisan benediction.  
• Chaos after a roll call vote on convention rules. 
• Lots of fearmongering.  
• The exploitation of a grieving mother.  
• Lots of mis-information and half-truths.  
• A loose definition of the term celebrity.   
• Lots of missing Republican leaders. 
• Melania Trump plagiarizing her speech. 
• A very WWE style entrance from Donald Trump. 

I highly doubt they converted many fence sitters to jump on the Trump bandwagon.
