Arizona St 46, Washington St 7

The Sun Devils crushed the Cougars 46-7 today at Sun Devil Stadium.  This win moves the Sun Devils to 6-5 on the season and makes them bowl eligible, it also snaps their 4 game losing streak. It was an impressive win for ASU, much needed also as it gives them some momentum as they head to Tucson for Friday's match up with arch rival Arizona. 

Observations:

• ASU's 'high octane' offense raked up 561 yards in total offense.  
• It's amazing how much more disciplined ASU has played this year.  
• ASU has scored first in 10 of their 11 games. 
• Taylor Kelly finished 20-23 for 246 yards & 4 TD's.   
• ASU has done a much better job this year at getting to the QB. 
• Will Sutton looks to be back to his old self.
• Mike Leach is really struggling in his first year at Washington State. 
• ASU held Washington State to 1-16 on third down. 
• Washington State had 1 rushing yard for the game.  Yes, 1 rushing yard.
• Up next?  @ Arizona next Friday to close the regular season in the Territorial Cup.
