Best TV Shows of the 2015-16 Season

The 2015-16 television pretty much comes to end this week so I thought it appropriate that I rank my Top 10 Television shows for the 2015-16 Television season.  So without further adieu, here goes:

1. The Americans - FX
2. Fargo - FX
3. The Walking Dead - AMC
4. Better Call Saul - AMC
5. Man Seeking Woman - FXX
6. Grimm - NBC
7. Modern Family - ABC
8. Baskets - FX
9. Gotham - FOX
10. Brookly Nine-Nine - FOX

I did not include any of the pay TV channels, otherwise "Game of Thrones", "House of Cards", "Orange if the New Black" and who knows what else would have made the list.

"The Americans", "Fargo", "The Walking Dead" & "Better Call Saul" are the clear top of the class.  "Man Seeking Woman" was once again the funniest show of the season.

"Baskets" was the best new show I watched this season, I really enjoyed the dark humor of it, and Louie Anderson is terrific.

As for the cancelled shows that I will miss?  Not many, although I wish FOX had have given "The Grinder" more time.

GOP Agenda

Can someone clue me in on the nature of the GOP ruling agenda?   From what I can tell it's the following:

• Block and obstruct. 
• Suppress the vote.
• Gerrymander voting districts. 
• Cut taxes for the wealthy. 
• Cut spending.  
• Cut regulation. 
• Repeal Obamacare. 
• Arm America. 
• Privatize Education. 
• Impose Religious beliefs. 
• Manipulate the courts. 
• Police the world. 
• Control women's bodies. 

There's got to be something they would do to improve the life of the average American.

George Takei speaks some common sense to the Bernie Bros.

"I'm George Takei. As many of you probably know, I'm a Democrat.And as you may have seen, I've also been a fan of Bernie Sanders. Much of what he stood for and helped bring to the forefront in this primary are things I too have fought for. I stood with the protesters at Occupy Wall Street and have spoken out often for campaign finance reform. I crowd-funded to defeat entrenched corporate interests in Congress. So I like Bernie. A lot of folks like Bernie. Even God, Himself, sent Bernie a tweet. But having been through many bruising primaries in my life, I'm also a realist. From where I sit, the math is clear. Hillary will likely win, and she will be our nominee. But that doesn't mean Bernie didn't also win. He won in a myriad of ways, none more so than energizing the Democratic base in a way no one expected. Young people in particular have become so passionate about this election. Because they recognize the historic importance at stake is nothing less than the very soul of our nation. So I'm asking Democrats out there to take a pledge, along with me.

TPSG 2016 NFL Draft Recap

• Robert Nkemdiche was a steal for the Cardinals at pick number 29. 
• Laquon Treadwell should provide a great weapon for Teddy Bridgewater. 
• How did Ohio State lose a game last year?  
• I'm surprised that neither the Vikings or Cardinals drafted a QB. 
• Hopefully, whoever leaked that Laremy Tunsil video is caught and prosecuted. 
• Moritz Boehringer's measurables are off the charts.  
• IMO the Jaguars, Bengals and Bears had the best drafts.  
• That 49ers first round trade was a bit of a head scratcher to me. 
• Outside of the Willie Beavers pick, I liked the Vikings draft. 
• I do like the Cardinals UDFA signing of QB Jake Coker. 
• How on earth did Andrew Billings drop to the fourth round?  
• It was good to see 2 Gophers selected.  Several UDFA signings too.
